Telluride Regional Airport: Telluride Airport (TEX) is perhaps the most scenic and conveniently located airport in all North American mountain destinations, just a short 10-minute drive to Downtown Telluride and Mountain Village. Great Lakes Airlines, a United partner services the TEX airport along with charter carriers offering on-call service from around the country.
Montrose Regional Airport: Located just 1.5 hour away from Telluride, Montrose Airport (MTJ) offers convenient non-stop winter service from 10 major hubs: Denver, Chicago, Newark, LaGuardia, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Grand Junction (GJT) and Durango (DRO) Airports are less expensive options to access Telluride, both are approximately a 2.5-hour drive to Telluride. Suggest Grand Junction over Durango in the Winter if you are renting a vehicle. Shuttle services are more expensive Durango and Grand Junction Airports.
