We had a family trip with five couples for the Bluegrass festival. The house has five bedrooms, Each with their own bathroom, so it was Perfect for five couples. The main floor is great for everyone gathering together. The location is very convenient to the gondola so we did not need to use the mountain Village shuttle.

The Summer Sisters had a fantastic week staying in our Telluride Vacation Rental. There were a few roof leaking problems but Kimberly took care of everything immediately and professionally. The house was clean, beautifully appointed and very comfortable for a group of 6. It had everything we needed and more. The location was wonderful being easily walkable to the Mountain Village center and the Gondola. The only negative at all was the construction going on at the time. It was quite loud but once that's over it will be blissful. Great view at some of the ski slopes which has downhill bike paths in the summer. I would highly recommend this rental!We went river rafting, hiking, driving over Ouray and Silverton to Durango, Jeep ride to Imogene Pass, Sleigh and Wagon Ride and had dinners at Allreds at the top of the gondola and restaurant 221. Also came upon two arts, crafts and jewelry shows, one downtown Telluride and the other up in the Village. Both with quality workmanship. Everything we did and say was spectacular! I hate to talk about it because Telluride is becoming too well known now. I've been coming here for 20 years and like everyone else I want to keep it a secret but it's beauty needs to be shared by others.

The best place to stay in Mountain Village!

Not only was this property incredible in every way, but so was the property management company! We had a group of 8 adults - plenty of room for everyone! Definitely could have fit another couple comfortably. This property is truly ski in/ski out right at lift 4. Plus a quick walk to the gondola to head to town. Truly no better location than this! The property was very clean, super comfortable furnishings, and kitchen and bar were fully stocked! Kimberly and Peter were so accommodating in every way. The dishwasher was unfortunately broken during our stay, but Kimberly came every day to hand wash the dishes and put them away! When our flight was cancelled, Peter saved the day and drove us to pick up a rental car. They were available 24/7 and treated us with true white glove service. We will definitely be back to Telluride and Casa Galena!

We stayed in this beautiful home for our family vacation. It was very spacious and plenty of room for families and their children. The location is what makes this house so special. Within walking distance to burg mountain village and the gondola. Our children loved it, we are already talking of another trip back. The kitchen is well stocked and we are all our dinners at the house. It also has a beautiful bar area. Telluride is a special place indeed.

This was our 2nd trip to Casa Galena for skiing with the extended family and we are planning our 3rd! Property was as described, even had humidifiers in all rooms. Glad to have washing machines at the ready too. I think everyone made use of the hot tub and the kids loved the "game room" (with murphy bed) just off the main living area. We drove in to Mtn Village and brought in our groceries, and this time we didn't leave any time to explore the village, however we enjoyed the lunch spots in Telluride and of course the skiing! Grocery delivery is $$ as one might imagine being on the mountain so try to avoid that if you can. Peter (property manager) met us at the garage for check-in like last time and was immediately available for us the whole trip.We certainly recommend Casa Galena to our friends and plan to be back!

We stayed in Casa Grande for my son’s wedding and we all loved the house, close to gondola and the village and beautiful surroundings! Only thing was it was hot when we were there and no ac (totally understandable for mountain homes) and the windows had no screens so we did get bugs in the house! Peter was very helpful and always ready to help! Highly recommend this house!

We had such a great trip! The house is located about a 5 min walk from all the stores and restaurants in Mountain Village and the free Gondola down to Telluride. Comfy beds and bathrooms accommodated our entire group of 7. The kitchen is well appointed and the great room was fun for all of us to hang out in. There is even a beaver in the pond behind the house to look at! Paul contacted us every few days to make sure everything was fine and to give us suggestions on hikes and other things to do.

This spacious home was fantastic for the 10 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked, grilled nearly every night. Seating in dining and living room was comfortable for all. We used the hot tub - nice and clean. Walked and biked wherever we wanted - best access to restaurants, gondola and activities.Our stay highlights included hiking to Hope Lake where the wildflowers were drop-dead gorgeous - and taking the gondola about 10 pm to town and back for the night scenery. We got off mid-mountain to witness the Milky Way which was spectacular. Also did mountain biking, road biking, Keystone Gulch hike (lovely). [Trails recommended by host.]

This house is incredible. From start to finish everything was perfect. Peter and Pam are extremely helpful through the whole process. The views from the living room and porch are incredible. We watched multiple Elk from the living room almost everyday. I highly recommend this place for any type of vacation. All the bedrooms are big and have en suite bathrooms. IT was a great week!

If you're looking for someone to help plan your Telluride experience to go along with a lavish property for your group to stay in, I highly recommend booking with Welcome to Telluride. Most property rental companies book your room, maybe give you a pamphlet of attractions when you get there, then you figure out the rest. Welcome to Telluride provides you a concierge named Peter who is available 24/7 to handle any questions or concerns about the property (he jumped on our hot water heater when it wasn't working from a power outage). He checked on us a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying our trip. My friends and I felt like we had known him for years! He even gave us written directions of how to get to hikes in layman's terms to make sure we wouldn't get lost.I stayed in Casa Galena for Memorial Day weekend 2017, and I have to say, while Telluride can be known for winter activities, the summer weather and views were breathtaking! We hiked Bridal Veil Falls and Keystone Gorge, thanks to Peter's tips! Mountain Film Fest was taking place, where many award-winning films are shown and it's not uncommon to see a celebrity taking in the sights. You can watch free movies under the stars each night that weekend! I recommend downloading an app on your phone that tells you what stars you're looking at when you point it to the sky! The gondola ride was a 3 minute walk from our property, and it took us over into Telluride from Mountain Village. How convenient! The property itself was luxurious and perfect for entertaining with a large bar in the center of the open den and kitchen. Every shower had the capability to turn into a steam room, and every bedroom had a humidifier. The hot tub was where we spent a lot of time while we were home. It sat 6 people comfortably. No detail was left behind in this property!Thanks for your hospitality!

My family and friends stayed at the home and it was beautiful. Home was in excellent condition and perfect for two families. The location couldn't have been better. Views galore! Mountain Village is a beautiful area and just a 10 minute gondola ride to Telluride. No need to drive anywhere. Lots of activities in Telluride for the family. White water rafting, fly fishing, hiking, horse back riding, shopping and much more. Great restaurants as well. I suggest Brown Dog Pizza in Telluride. I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Galena. You won't be sorry.

2015 Family Christmas Vacation at Casa Galena

We thourghly enjoyed our vacation experience at Casa Galena. The home met all of our expectations and more. It was very well maintained, in an excellent location to the slopes and to the gondola , with all the amenities imaginable. The bedrooms were either on the lower level or the upper, leaving the main floor for gathering and relaxing in a very open layout. We stayed for six nights and didn't want to leave. We skied out each morning and skied in each afternoon. The location on the slopes was so convenient. We could stop in for lunch or a warm up anytime, as it was not out of the way at all. After skiing all day, the private hot tub and the steam showers were all that was needed to relax and get rid of any chill from the day. We were there the week of Christmas and the home was tastefully decorated with a Christmas tree and all! Mother Nature cooperated that week also, and brought the area two winter storms, so we had fresh powder each day. The patios surrounding the home were all heated, as were the walkways from the house to the Gondola. This made walking around a breeze with no need to shovel snow out of the way. We rented a car from the airport to have for the week and never used it. Everything was all right there or a gondola ride away. As far as using Telluride Vacation Rentals, they were amazing and made booking and checking in and out a breeze. Peter met us upon arrival, brought our luggage in the house and put it all in the proper bedroom. He then showed us all around the house and answered any questions we had about the area. He also went to the grocery ahead of time and had everything we requested in the house and put away. He was available if needed throughout the week. Upon checkout, he was available to carry all our luggage to the car. Our vacation experience was over the top, perfect!
